Supporting CollaborationCollaboration occurs at many levels and through a variety of mechanisms including special interest groups (SIG’s), community of interest listservs and the members only Sharepoint© site. Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) are established as a formal mechanism to address an area or subject of common interest to CUCCIO members. Each special interest group has a Board member designated as the group's Sponsor and a Chair who coordinates the activity of the group including defining desired outcomes and potential deliverables. Participation in Special Interest Groups is open to any employee of a member university. Should you be interested in participating in a group, contact the Sponsor directly. Currently, CUCCIO special interest groups include: CUCCIO sponsored listservs will be used to provide a connection between individuals responsible for specific functions within member organizations. The objective is to provide the participants the ability to discuss issues and learn from their colleagues accross the country. These discussions may or may not lead to the creation of a more formal SIG.
